If you came here looking for cheap hammocks, I'm sorry, but that is one thing we don't sell here at Hammocks Australia. We do sell hammocks, and we believe in selling the best value and priced quality hammocks. This doesn't mean they are necessarily expensive though, as we strive to provide top quality hammocks at excellent value for money prices.
As is often the case when you do purchase the cheaper brands you end up with an inferior product that usually costs you extra further down the line, or restricts the enjoyment you would otherwise obtain. I'm sure we've all had those experiences of purchased cheap products for them to fall apart within a week, or break down regularly.
Such is the case with one hammock user who contacted us back in March about a hammock they had purchased from another company " ..the webbing has just failed resulting injury to the user. It has been under shelter all the time and has had no abuse. I have included photos of the failure." With something like a hammock, this shows the potential danger of buying a cheap hammock.
This user had the hammock for less than a year, and yet it disintegrated, with the support arms snapping creating a dangerous situation. As you can see in the photo below.
Now that is something you don't want to run the risk of happening to you or your family.
