Guarantee and Returns

 

All our hammocksblankets and hammock stands are checked and inspected to ensure they are of the utmost quality. We are sure you'll love your purchase. However we want to ensure you are happy with your purchase, so if for any reason you are unhappy with your product, simply return as new for a replacement or refund of your purchase price within the first 30 days. 

We provide a 6-month limited guarantee for manufacturing defects on our range of Mexican hammocks and a 1-year guarantee on our range of Colombian, organic cotton, travel hammocks and hammock stands.

Defects that arise due to improper use or weather influence (sun, wind or rain) are not considered warranty cases. The guarantee does not cover normal wear or defects that occur due to misuse, overloading or cover ‘pulled’ cords.

Our hammock stands come with a 12-month guarantee on materials and workmanship.

 

Returns & Refunds

Should you just change your mind or not be happy with your hammock, it may be returned and exchanged for another. Keep the packaging, handle carefully and as long as you do this while it's nice, new and unused we can accept a return or exchange.

Should you wish to return an item, please contact us in the first instance to discuss and obtain our return delivery address.

You have 30 days to get in touch to return or exchange your product. If you have changed your mind, purchased the incorrect item or wish to exchange the return shipping cost is yours to pay and your refund amount will be less the actual cost of delivering your item. If there is a fault or you have received the incorrect product we will incur the return shipping cost and advise how best to return your purchase.

Returns must be in an 'as new' unused condition. Be sure to keep the packaging and labels so these can also be returned if you decide to go down that route.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and let you know the status of your refund. If your return is approved, you will be refunded through the same payment method of original purchase. 

 

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless there is a fault with the item in which cause Hammocks Australia will refund this cost and cover the delivery cost of a replacement.

If you have changed your mind, purchased the incorrect item/size or wish to exchange, the return shipping cost  to us and delivery of the exchanged item back to you is yours to pay. If cancelling your order in this situation the refund amount will be less the actual cost of delivering your item in the first instance.
