Guarantee and Returns


All our hammocks and hammock stands are checked and inspected to ensure they are of the utmost quality. We are sure you'll love your purchase and for piece of mind we offer the following product guarantees.

We provide a 6-month limited guarantee for manufacturing defects on our range of Mexican hammocks and a 1-year guarantee on our range of Colombian hammocks and hammock stands.

Defects that arise due to improper use or weather influence (sun, wind or rain) are not considered warranty cases. The guarantee does not cover normal wear or defects that occur due to misuse, overloading or cover ‘pulled’ cords.

Our hammock stands come with a 12-month guarantee on materials and workmanship.


Returns & Refunds

All our hammocks and hammock stands are checked and inspected to ensure they are of the utmost quality. We are sure you'll love your purchase. However we want to ensure you are happy with your purchase, so allow for returns within 30 days for new used products. 

To return an item, it must be in its original condition and packaging, and it must be unused. We cannot accept items in damaged packaging unless the hammock is faulty.

Hammocks Australia offers free shipping on applicable orders, but only if you keep the item(s) you originally purchased. If you return an order for a refund we will keep the original shipping costs plus the transaction processing fee incurred (e.g. credit card 1.75%) as we are unable to recover these costs.


Should you wish to return an item, please contact us in the first instance to discuss and obtain our return delivery address.

If there is a fault or you have received the incorrect product we will incur the return shipping cost and advise how best to return your purchase.

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and let you know the status of your refund. If your return is approved, you will be refunded through the same payment method of original purchase. 



Products may be exchanged within 30 days. Items must be in 'new and unused' condition with product packaging intact. We cannot accept exchanges with no or damaged packaging. 

If you return an order for exchange, free shipping is only applicable for the original order and the cost to send an exchanged item to you is at your cost. The cost to return an item for exchange to Hammocks Australia is also at your cost.
