When it comes to hanging a hammock there are various options available. Depending on how and where you wish to hang your hammock will determine what accessories are best suited. For this reason, hanging accessories are not included with our hammocks, as there is no one accessory to suit every situation.
When purchasing a hammock most hammock product pages offer the option to include hanging accessories so you can easily include these with your hammock purchase. The full range can also be viewed under our accessories section. These options include;
The simple solution for when you already have hooks set into posts or walls but the distance might still be too far apart to directly hang your hammock on.
The rope set simply and easily spans this distance with one end attached to the hammock loop end and the other on the hook.
Rope can also be used to tie directly onto posts or around trees to hang your hammock.
For when you want to set up a permanent hanging solution into a solid post, beam or wall. The screws are fixed into the wood creating a strong anchor point from which to attach your hammock to.
From the eye opening use the rope and 's' hooks to attach to the loop ends of your hammock.
The rope allows for covering any additional distance and adjusting the hanging height of the hammock as required. The 's' hooks can be attached at either the hammock loop end or screw hook end and makes it easy to hang and take down your hammock as required.
These are a quick and easy tree friendly hanging solution. The straps are made from wide nylon webbing and simply wrap around your hanging trees and are held tight in place with your weight.
They include 's' hooks that simply attach to your hammock loop ends saving the need for any knot tying. Tree straps can also be used around posts in the same manner.

Tree straps are a more 'tree-friendly' alternative to rope as the wider straps are less likely to dig into the tree trunk and damage the bark.

Our hammock stands come in two options, a wood or metal stand. Both are a unique design that allows the stand to to fit hammocks long than the stand via an adjustable hook system on the rear of the stand.
The main differences between the two come down to personal preference regarding the look and practicality.
The metal stand is very quick and easy to put together. Perfect for moving about the garden or taking away camping . The wooden stand is heavier and more solid, better suited to being set up in one place and may require maintenance such as re-coating with outdoor furniture oil every year or two to preserve the timber.
