You may think owning and operating an online hammock store is a good excuse to laze around in hammocks all day?! Well it is partly that but we do a lot more, and are continually looking at ways to improve our products and services to our amazing customers.
So hear is a little of what we've been up to lately.
- Guy got engaged! Congratulations to Guy Halpin and Kate Brewer on their recent engagement. Guy is the other half of Hammocks Australia and I'm thrilled to seem him and Kate so happy.
- I turned 30 and traveled to Tonga to celebrate with my family and partner. See some pictures here. Hammocks in Tonga
- Business Awards Finalist. We are a finalist in the Northern Beaches local business awards under the Home Furnishing category. Winners are announced later this month and we are still in the running, so check back to see how we did.
- Hammock Stands. We recently started offering hammock stands as part of our product range. Fantastic stands for those locations where you may not have a natural setup or fixing points for your hammock. These come in a amazing looking wooden arc cypress pine hammock stand, and a metal stand. No more excuses of not having somewhere to hang a hammock solved right there.
- Coming Soon - Thick String hammocks. If you are looking for something even bigger and strong than our King Size hammocks, keep a look out for our thick string Mayan Mexican hammocks coming soon. The cord whether nylon or cotton is approx four times thicker than the regular hammock cord used. This creates an amazingly strong and durable hammock. Great for the whole family.
- Hammock Shop USA. Our newest store opened recently to provide our quality hammocks to US market. We were even fortunate enough to be shown on day time television through a shopping television segment. See the clip of our show here - Hammock Shop USA Spring Showcase
- Facebook. We've got our own little facebook page going, with fans from all around the world. We have a great range of additional photos and videos available there, including behind the scenes photos or our photo shoots. - Qantas Frequent Flyer Programme. Our hammocks are available through the Qantas Rewards Store. So if you have some spare points what better way to send them than on one our authentic Mexican hammocks. They are available in Double Hammock and Queen Hammock Sizes.
- Blog. This blog. We update this every week with new information, videos, photos, hammock talk and more. We try and keep it interesting and even have a little mini putt golf game you can play here - Mini Putt Golf.
- Monthly Specials. With new monthly specials every month there is always the opportunity to get a great deal. Currently we are offering $10 rebates on all our Double, Queen and King hammocks for this month, along with great hammock package deals and more.
