1. Connect the ‘U’ shaped piece to the two ‘L’ shaped pieces. There is a single whole at one end of the ‘L’ shaped pieces. Line it up with the hole in the ‘U’ shaped piece and screw a bolt in each.
2. Connect the 4 plastic caps so that the metal bars do not touch the ground.

3. Pull a white cap over each of the silver polls and slide the silver poll into the top of each ‘L’

4. With the remaining ‘V’ shaped piece slide this over each vertical silver piece. You have a choice of different height settings so set as required. Screw the remaining four bolts in.

5.Attached the spring to the top of the upside down ‘V’. Your chair hammock stand is now ready to be used!

I was lucky enough to recently celebrate my 30th birthday in the Kingdom of Tonga (lucky to be there, I didn't feel so lucky turning 30!).

A very beautiful and tranquil place which is an archipelago of 176 islands, of which 56 are inhabited. Like all the Pacific islands you can expect lovely golden sand, beaming sun, warm waters, great fresh seafood, and smiles all round. 

Merida in the Capital city in the Mexican State of Yucatan. It is from here and the surrounding towns and villages that all our hammocks are produced. All are 100% hand-woven the traditional way, resulting in a genuinue authentic Mexican Hammock. While this area produces amazing hammocks, there is also a lot more to the city and region than relaxing!

Unfortunately it is not every day we can relax and enjoy ourselves at a holiday resort. Room service, beaches, lazing away the hours in a hammock with a cold drink and a good book...

Winter has hit Australia early this year with record low temps recorded in May. This week I returned from the USA which is going into summer and better hammock weather!
